Our Team

We built this for the people the finance industry forgot.

Most investing apps are built for people who already have money.

The minimums are high. The language is a wall. The advice costs a percentage of everything you own, which means the less you have, the less anyone wants to talk to you.

Meanwhile there are tens of millions of people who are doing the responsible thing. Saving. Setting money aside every week out of tips, or a paycheck, or a slow month of freelance work. And that money sits in a checking account losing ground to inflation, because nobody ever showed them what to do next.

That's who we built NextMove for.

Saving was the smart part. This is just the next move.

What we believe

Investing isn't complicated. The industry made it complicated. Jargon is a gate. We took the gate down. If we can't explain something in the way you'd explain it to a friend, we rewrite it until we can.

You shouldn't need a lot of money to be treated well. We charge a flat $3 a month whether you have $50 or $50,000. Your balance is not our pricing model.

A goal beats a ticker symbol. Nobody wakes up wanting to own a diversified equity portfolio. People want a car that starts, a month of rent in the bank, a kid who doesn't graduate with debt. We built the funds around the goals, not the other way around.

Boring is a feature. We're not going to send you a push notification about a hot stock. We put the same amount in on the same schedule and let time do the work. That's the whole strategy. It's supposed to be boring.
